Requirements

Position Objective:

The Chef de Partie is responsible for the preparation and presentation of food in his/her assigned area of the kitchen. He/she ensures that all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standards and contributes to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

  • Responsible for the preparation and cooking of dishes in the assigned area (e.g. appetizers, main courses)
  • Ensure compliance with recipes and presentation standards
  • Ensure high quality and consistency of foodOrganizationand cleanliness:
  • Ensuring that the work area is always clean, organized and ready for use
  • Compliance with hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Responsibility for the correct storage and handling of foodTeamworkand communication:
  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen members to ensure smooth operations
  • Participate in team meetings Inventory control and purchasing:
  • Assist in controlling inventory and ordering ingredients
  • Ensuring minimal waste and optimal use of available resources.Menu development:
  • Contribute to the development of new dishes and menus in collaboration with the Head Chef and Sous Chef
  • Continuous improvement and innovation of the dishes on offer
