Description
From mid-May, we are looking for an experienced reception manager - a leader with a host's heart - to join us at the Family and Garden Hotel Theresia.
You are an integral part of our reception team, take on both front and back office tasks and, as team leader, ensure that everything runs smoothly at reception - with a good dose of organizational talent and excellent communication.
You see guest complaints as an opportunity to turn a dissatisfied guest into an enthusiastic fan. You work at eye level with your team, always maintain an overview and know exactly how to prioritize tasks. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, has a strong work ethic, but doesn't forget to have fun at work.

Requirements
WHAT WE ENTRUST TO YOU
- Active telephone and written sales of our rooms and offers
- Processing all correspondence
- Accepting and managing reservations
- Professional check-in & check-out
- Personal support and advice for our guests on site
- Dealing confidently with guest requests and complaints
- Managing, training and motivating the reception team
- You make decisions on individual discounts and deviations from requests
- You make decisions on how to deal with complaints, e.g. upgrade, price reduction
- You communicate management decisions regarding flat rates, short-term discounts, promotions, etc. with the reception team
You are the interface to the other departments (service, kitchen, housekeeping, SPA) and contact person for internal problems
HOW YOU CONVINCE US
- You already have experience in a managerial position at reception or in the front office
- You are a host with heart, you are passionate about inspiring guests and creating unforgettable moments for them
- You get stuck in and get everyone involved as a passionate team leader
- You are able to deal professionally and calmly with the complaints and concerns of our guests
- You work independently, in a structured manner and are aware of your responsibilities
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- You have a certain flexibility, especially with regard to working hours and do not lose your nerve even in stressful times
- A professional, well-groomed and authentic appearance is a matter of course for you
- You have very good IT skills (MS Office, Internet, Outlook) and perhaps already have experience with the hotel software Casablanca, with the correspondence manager MIA and with the communication app staymate.
