Cooking pleasure at the Allgäuer Berghof

As Sous Chef, you will support the kitchen management in all operational and administrative tasks.

Our new culinary concept places great emphasis on regionality, sustainability and conscious enjoyment. We spoil our young and old guests with milk and cheese from the local dairy, fruit from Lake Constance and sausage and meat specialties from the Allgäu.

To meet these demands, we have completely redesigned both our kitchen and our buffet area with front cooking and equipped it with the latest technology.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for the next possible..

Your tasks

  • Deputizing for the head chef in his absence, together with another sous chef, with responsibility for the smooth running of the day, including personnel planning
  • Preparation and cooking of meals for the all-inclusive catering for guests and employees
  • Responsibility for the proper storage of food
  • Compliance with HACCP guidelines
  • Incoming goods inspection and goods maintenance
  • Daily management of employees
  • Training new employees
  • Supervision of trainees
  • Ordering
  • Advice for guests with intolerances

Your profile

  • independent and autonomous work

  • good manners and a well-groomed appearance
  • Willingness to take on responsibility
  • first experience in employee management
  • very good knowledge of German, further language skills are an advantage
  • Trainer aptitude certificate an advantage
