Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support and representation of the restaurant manager in all operational and administrative matters
- Ensuring the smooth running of restaurant operations
- Monitoring and ensuring a high standard of quality and service
- Coordinating reservations, placements and special guest requests
- Working with the kitchen and other departments to ensure an excellent guest experience
- Sharing responsibility for training and induction of new staff
- Guest relations and complaint managementRequirements:
- Work Experience:
- Several years of professional experience in the upscale gastronomy or hotel industry
- Experience in a management position, ideally as deputy restaurant manager, head waiter or chef de rang
- Extensive knowledge of wine, beverages and upscale food service
- Professional qualifications:
- Completed training in the hotel or gastronomy sector (e.g. restaurant specialist, hotel specialist)
- Further training in F&B management or restaurant management an advantage
- Personal skills:
- Leadership qualities and ability to work in a team: You are able to lead and motivate a team
- Strong service and guest orientation: You have a high degree of empathy and excellent host behavior
- Organizational talent and a structured way of working
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility, especially in times of high guest volume
- Ability to deal with conflict and a confident demeanor, even in stressful situations
- Strong communication skills and solution-oriented thinking
