Head of Housekeeping (m/f/d)

As Head of Housekeeping, you are responsible for the smooth running of the department.

You will be supported by 2 assistants and up to 17 other colleagues. We live the team concept and treat colleagues and guests with respect.

Your tasks

• Contact person for all matters relating to housekeeping
• Management, organization and control of the entire housekeeping department, including all temporary staff and external companies
• Ensuring and monitoring the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas in accordance with quality standards
• Daily inspection of cleaning work throughout the building
• Planning and organization of basic and special cleaning services
• Introduction and monitoring of processes in accordance with our quality standards
• Processing guest requests and complaints
• Recording and forwarding of defects
• Management of material and laundry stock
• Ordering and monitoring the cleaning materials and equipment used
• Ordering, monitoring and checking laundry deliveries
• Commissioning, coordination and monitoring of external cleaning companies
• Creation of flow charts
• Constant critical examination of processes and their further development

Your profile

• At least 3 years of professional and management experience in a similar position and company
• Organizational skills and assertiveness
• Good and confident manners
• Good knowledge of work equipment & materials
• Ability to work in a team and confident leadership style
• Loyalty and honesty
• Independence, initiative and a forward-looking way of working
• Excellent language skills (B1 level) in German, English and at least one Slavic language
• Well-groomed appearance
