In our creative department in the heart of the Hotel Bergland, the kitchen, the team unites on the way to the mountains of the Ötztal. In this valley, where colleagues and superiors become friends. We are looking for a committed Chef Saucier (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible .

Your profile:
  • Use your at least two years of experience in the upscale hotel industry and establish yourself as a leader for the Demi-Chef de Partie and support our head chef in all matters as a substitute for the Sous Chef
  • Be open to working with apprentices, trainees or commis if they seek your advice as a trained chef
  • Demonstrate your creativity and your eye for precision when arranging the dishes
  • Integrate regular quality checks (quantity of goods, cleanliness, HACCP, freshness, taste) into your daily routine
  • Benefit from your previous experience in the upscale hotel industry when it comes to preparation methods, merchandise management and budget-oriented work
Your qualification:
  • Strong knowledge of classic and modern cuisine
  • Confident handling of basic techniques for sauce and stock production
  • Several years of experience in upscale gastronomy, ideally in a similar position
  • Deep understanding of the quality and properties of food and spices
  • Perfection in the preparation of sauces, jus, stocks, stews and meat or fish dishes

  • Living in the staff house within a 10-minute walk
