Sous chef (m/f/d)

For our hotel in Lech am Arlberg we are looking for a committed and experienced sous chef (m/f/d) who supports our kitchen team and shares our standards of quality, creativity and excellence. Working closely with the head chef, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of our culinary concept. You will ensure the high quality and presentation of the food, both in the à la carte and half-board areas, and ensure compliance with all hygiene regulations (HACCP). As a deputy to the head chef, you will lead and motivate the kitchen team, train new employees and promote the further development of the team with regard to current trends and techniques in gastronomy. Your tasks will also include assisting with menu planning, controlling the use of goods and optimizing costs. You will work closely with other departments, particularly Service and Purchasing, and liaise with suppliers to ensure the high quality of the goods purchased. You have completed training as a chef or have a comparable qualification, as well as several years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in the upscale hotel or restaurant industry. Your passion for gastronomy, your creativity and your pronounced sense of quality characterize you as well as your ability to work under pressure and in a team. Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
