What tasks can you expect with us?

  • Supporting the head chef to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen and deputizing
  • Management, coordination and independent work in all positions or your area of expertise
  • Responsibility for proper preparation & cooking according to the specified quantities
  • Mise-en-place preparations
  • Ensuring consistent quality and control of all food in the entire kitchen area
  • Contributing recipes and further developing dishes
  • Active development of new ideas and implementation of dishes
  • Maintaining the high level of quality
  • Optimization of work and production processes
  • Compliance with hygiene and safety measures for the HACCP concept
  • Training and education of apprentices, trainees & colleagues
  • Co-organizing and ensuring the proper flow of goods in the kitchen, cold stores and all warehouses

Requirements

What requirements/qualifications should you have?

  • Successfully completed vocational training/apprenticeship as a chef and previous experience as a chef de partie or sous chef
  • Fluency in German
  • Professional & management experience in the upscale hotel industry
  • Creativity and passion for your profession
  • Good communication skills
  • A high level of quality, flexibility, reliability and resilience
  • Knowledge of food laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • Entrepreneurial and cost-conscious thinking and acting
  • Teamwork and the ability to manage employees

The information provided by our company in accordance with the Equal Treatment Act: we offer a minimum salary for this position in accordance with the collective agreement with the willingness to overpay accordingly, depending on qualifications and experience.

Earnings: EUR 2,600.00 net - 6-day week with 48 hours.
