Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chef de Bar to competently lead our young, international team in our hotel bar and delight our guests with first-class service and create unforgettable moments for our guests.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Team leadership: managing and motivating the young, international service team. Ensuring that operations run smoothly.
- Table assignments: Organizing and assigning tables to ensure efficient operations and the highest level of guest service.
- Several years of experience at the bar and in-depth knowledge of spirits and cocktail preparation.
- Staff management: training, directing and supervising the team to maintain the highest quality of service.
- Monitoring and managing the wine and spirits stock and carrying out regular inventories.
- Quality management: Ensuring compliance with quality and service standards throughout the bar area
- Guest satisfaction: Direct contact person for guests and handling of special requests or complaints.

Requirements
- Completed training in the catering or hotel industry, ideally with further training in restaurant management
- Several years of experience in the catering industry, including at least 2 years in a management position
- High service orientation and a professional appearance
- Very good organizational skills and multitasking skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of business processes and cost management
- Creativity in the design of events and special gastronomic offers
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Profound knowledge of wines, spirits, food, cocktails and their advice.
- Enjoy dealing with people and working in an international environment
