Your tasks - Advising guests and making recommendations - Presenting wines and service - Working with the restaurant and kitchen management to create the food and drink menu - Planning the wine list and coordinating with menus - Selecting and organizing the purchase of wines - Storing wines professionally - Responsibility for the wine, drinks and spirits warehouse - Taking wines from the wine cellar, checking temperature and quality - Market overview, studying new supply and demand trends, attending wine fairs Maintaining contacts with winegrowers and wine merchants - Keeping wine lists, stock lists and other operational records
