Spice up the children's menu

04.10.2022

from Sandra

So even the little ones love coming to the restaurant!

Children and restaurant visits can be an explosive mix. If the children are bored, etc., the evening becomes a horror for the parents. To make the little guests a little happier and therefore more peaceful, we have 5 cool children's cocktails for you here that you can add to the menu without much effort. The kids will love it.

Summer Cooler

For this you need:

  • 2 cl lime syrup
  • 8 cl cherry nectar
  • cold ginger ale
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 slice of lemon and cherries to decorate

To make the Summer Cooler, mix the lime syrup and cherry nectar and pour into a glass with approx. 5 ice cubes. Crush the ice well and stir everything with a long spoon. Then top up the "cocktail" with cold ginger ale. Garnish with cherries and a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass.

Frog King

For this you need:

  • 3 cl pear juice
  • 3 cl clear apple juice
  • 2 cl banana nectar
  • 1.5 cl woodruff syrup
  • ½ organic lime
  • Mineral water
  • Ice cubes

To make the Frog King, pour all the juices, nectar and syrup into a cocktail shaker with 4 ice cubes and mix. Wash the lime and cut into slices. Layer the lime slices and ice cubes in a glass - fill the glass about 1/3 full. Finally, pour the Frog King into the glass through a bar strainer and top up with mineral water.

Icy peach

½ peach
2 cl clear apple juice
8 cl cold white or green tea
2 cl peach nectar
A dash of lime juice
1.5 cl caramel syrup
crushed ice
Ice cubes

Pit and peel the peach. Dice the peach, place in a blender with the apple juice and puree until smooth
Pour the cold tea, peach nectar, lime juice, caramel syrup and 4 ice cubes into the shaker and shake vigorously. Fill a cocktail glass halfway with crushed ice. Pour the contents of the shaker through the strainer into the cocktail glass and top with the peach purée. The peach peel can be used to garnish the drink.

Summer, sun, sunshine

For this you need:

  • 2 cl cranberry nectar
  • 6 cl peach nectar
  • 6 cl pineapple juice
  • Ice cubes

Unlike the other drinks, which are served in a large cocktail glass, this cocktail is served in a short glass with a thick base. Pour all the ingredients into the shaker with 4 ice cubes. Shake the shaker vigorously. Fill the glass with 2 ice cubes and pour in the drink. Garnish with a strawberry and a piece of peach. Decorated with a straw and umbrella, these drinks are the highlight of the children's menu!
