Requirements
- Guest services: You are the first point of contact for guests and ensure that their requests and concerns are dealt with quickly and in a friendly manner.
- Check-in and check-out: The reception manager oversees the check-in and check-out process to ensure an efficient flow.
- Reservations management: You will manage room reservations, including processing bookings, cancelations and changes.
- Invoicing and payment processing: The reception manager is responsible for the correct preparation of invoices and the processing of payments.
- Complaint management: You deal with complaints and problems from guests and find solutions to ensure their satisfaction.
- Coordination with other departments: The reception manager works closely with other departments such as housekeeping, catering and marketing to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
- Administrative tasks: This includes preparing reports, managing booking systems and monitoring stock levels of reception materials.
- Compliance with standards: You will ensure that all hotel standards and policies are adhered to in order to ensure quality of service.
Marketing and promotion: The reception manager may also be involved in developing marketing strategies and special offers to increase the hotel's occupancy rate.
These tasks require organizational skills, communication skills and a high degree of customer orientation.
