Our corporate philosophy
The five-star hotel Das Central in the heart of Sölden is an integral part of its success story as a world-famous ski destination. Since 1969, the hotel has been run by the founding Falkner family with a great deal of passion, commitment and innovative spirit. With a successful combination of Tyrolean tradition and Alpine lifestyle, which is reflected in the creative design of the rooms and suites, the renowned traditional hotel offers luxurious elegance and maximum enjoyment on all levels. The Ötztaler Stube, Sölden's only three-toque restaurant, serves up culinary masterpieces, while the two-toque kitchen in the ice Q at 3,048 meters above sea level indulges guests with Alpine haute cuisine at the highest level in a stylish lounge atmosphere. The 30,000-bottle wine cellar is a vinophile treasure trove - be it an exquisite rarity or the PINO 3000 matured at an altitude of 3,000 m. The topic of wine is not only brought to the fore at the annual "Wein am Berg" festival. Since the end of November 2023, the new Summit Spa with various saunas, relaxation rooms and an infinity pool on the roof has been helping guests to relax at the end of action-packed days of winter sports, biking or hiking.
THE ÖTZTAL CAN DO SOMETHING!
Whether skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, cross-country skiing or ski touring - the mountains around Sölden really do have something to offer every winter lover. Those who prefer ice climbing can also pursue this hobby at over 20 waterfalls in Ötztal. You can also while away your free time on snowshoe hikes. Those who prefer to stay in the valley can recharge their batteries with winter running, ice skating or in the sports and tennis hall at Freizeit Arena Sölden
The Ötztal is also incredibly charming and versatile in summer. The 700 km of well-developed cycling, forest and gravel paths through the valley are particularly popular. But also wonderful hiking trails to alpine pastures, swimming lakes and pubs attract sports enthusiasts to the valley who are also looking for relaxation. Riding stables, mini-golf and indoor golf courses, bowling alleys and paragliding launch sites guarantee leisure fun every minute of the day. As an outdoor highlight, Area 47 is known far beyond the borders of Tyrol and offers a wide range of leisure activities.
