Description
In the hotel, buffets are always available for self-service. It starts with the breakfast buffet, continues with the small lunch buffet at noon and ends with the salad buffet, children's food from the buffet in the evening and always partial buffets for dinner. It is necessary to maintain the buffets so that they are properly replenished and adapted to the number of guests. The guests always want to find a tidy and clean buffet, even after large numbers of guests at so-called "peak times".
Requirements
For this area, it is necessary to observe the buffet quickly and attentively and to reorder in good time. An understanding of hygiene in the food area and hygienic working practices are essential. Keeping the food area professionally clean and tidy is a constant task. The plates must also always be carefully checked to ensure that they are consistently clean. Furthermore, fallen items must be removed. Serving cutlery must be replaced regularly and spilled food must be removed. The surfaces around the bowls must be kept clean. It is necessary to keep your eyes open and work quickly. The fewer guests are expected, the smaller the bowls of food will be.
The tasks for this position range from preparation to clearing and cleaning.
