Description
Your workplace is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, with a fantastic panoramic view of the Danube and the foothills of the Alps, at the entrance to the Wachau. The Hotel Schachner in the Wachau-Nibelungengau is a family-run 4-star hotel with a restaurant (14 Gault Millau points - 2 toques). Together with our employees, we lovingly look after our hotel and restaurant guests, always focusing on the hospitality and warmth that our employees bring to the table.
Our mission: We inspire our guests. Our guests leave our hotel happier and more satisfied than when they arrived.
Requirements
Your tasks
- Charming our guests with honest friendliness and courtesy
- Competent advice on our regional cuisine and wine selection
- A sense of responsibility and conscientiousness in cash register and billing
- You have a good overview of your own service station - you work in a structured and organized manner
- À la carte and buffet service
- Mice en place
- Table decoration
- Guarantee a smooth service process
- Support the supervisor in organizational tasks and decisions
- Compliance with hygiene regulations and occupational safety
You have
- Completed an apprenticeship or vocational school or
- Experience in service
- Good language skills in German; English an advantage
- Good communication skills
- well-groomed appearance
- Honest hospitality and attention to detail and the beautiful surroundings
- Enthusiasm for happy and satisfied guests.
- Ability to work under pressure
- A thorough, clean and accurate way of working
- An open personality, are a team player and ensure a good working atmosphere
