The "Tannberg" is the oldest and most traditional inn in the Walser community of Schröcken. The typical Walser house has been owned by the Moosmann family for more than 150 years. The house has been extended over the years.

In the guest books you can read that even the German Crown Prince Wilhelm was one of our guests during his hunting stays.

The secret of the "Tannberg" is to preserve the good of the old traditions, but not to stand still with the times.

The head of the house personally looks after the well-being of the guests. Daughter Silke runs the kitchen and daughter Ruth the office. Father, daughter and son-in-law go hunting themselves. The venison comes from their own hunt.

The Moosmann family goes to great lengths to ensure that vacationers have the feeling of being far away from home - and yet at home.
