The University of Innsbruck is Tyrol's largest employer. More than 5,000 people work here in a wide variety of professions. Some of them also at the University Center in Obergurgl at almost 2,000m above sea level in the midst of a unique natural landscape, directly on the ski slopes. The Obergurgl University Center is an international sports, research and congress center and welcomes around 15,000 private and conference guests every year
