Our corporate philosophy

Idyllically and quietly situated in the midst of the magnificent mountains, the 4-star Hotel Winterbauer in Flachau presents itself as a true oasis of well-being. Winter sports enthusiasts, gourmets, demanding individualists as well as families find themselves with us. We are the heart of the Sportwelt Amadé. From us you will succeed in the optimal entrance to the skiing pleasure - three top modern skiing areas are in the immediate vicinity. A hiking trail and a toboggan run lead you directly from our family hotel into the fun. Wellness fans can relax in the hotel's own spa area, which offers a massage room, whirlpool, Finnish sauna and steam bath, among other things, on a good 200 square meters.

In summer there is plenty of space for relaxation and discovery. A garden area of about 4000 square meters awaits you - including organic herb garden with two rows of vines, ponies, rabbits, children's playground, outdoor infinity pool, fish pond, picnic area and green space for volleyball or badminton. All this at 1080 meters and completely free of traffic. Hiking trails start right outside the front door of our hotel and lead them to the region of Flachau, Altenmarkt or even Zauchensee. Gourmets can be pampered both on the sun terrace, as well as in the cozy guest rooms from the hood-suspicious and AMA award-winning cuisine. As a gourmet hotel, we attach great importance to the fact that our products come from our own organic farm or directly from the region. Weekly we still bake our own farmhouse bread. Sustainable energy supply is important to us. We gain energy with our own solar system or the wood chip plant.
