Why is the Leutascherhof an organic hotel?

In all areas of our actions in the hotel, it is always clear that the breathtaking natural and cultural landscape of Leutasch with its inhabitants and the culture that has grown is our most precious asset.

The most sustainable management of our habitat is organic farming. Our goal is therefore to work only with the best food - for us, only 100% organic quality comes into question here. And above all, we taste and feel every day how good organic does us.

Conscious and regional food and drink
With our partners in the region we are united both by the love for our nature and the idea of quality. Therefore, we mainly use products from our region. Veal and beef, pork and poultry, butter, yogurt, milk, ice cream, eggs, cereals, potatoes, and much more we get directly from our local partners in and around Leutasch. Our kitchen adjusts to the seasonal conditions and completely renounces flight goods.
Environmental awareness
We treat our resources with care and also ask our guests for their support. The use of environmentally friendly cleaning agents, green electricity from water and wind energy is a matter of course for us.

Furthermore, we provide our guests with an electric charging station free of charge. An environmentally friendly journey as well as the regional bus system are actively promoted by us. In 2010, the Biohotel Leutascherhof was awarded the Austrian and the European Ecolabel - a visible sign of our efforts.

Our goal is to be independent of fossil fuels by 2026 and to reduce our energy requirements by 30% in the short term.
